COLOURLOCK Elephant Leather Preserver
The COLOURLOCK Elephant Leather Preserver protects and waterproofs, as well as keeping the leather supple. Ideal for Chesterfield sofas, classic car interiors and glossy leather handbags.
Made out of 100% synthetic fat, it is acid free, odour neutral and free of vegetable or animal fats Museums use this recipe to protect and preserve old and hardened leather. It guards the leather against mould or bleaching, while waterproofing it.
Ideal for the care of leather which is exposed to the weather, or for conserving extremely dry or antique leather.
Designed for treating genuine "Pull Up" furniture leather (oily leather). It is not suitable for Bycast or polyurethane-coated (PU) leather.
Application
Always test any products first on a hidden area in case they affect the colour.
Rub some preserver onto a clean, soft piece of cloth and apply to the leather. If required, use the cloth to give a final polish. The fat is difficult to use when it’s cold, so be sure to work at room temperature or warm it slightly with a hair dryer.

I’ve used Colourlock repair dyes to breathe new life into the tired leather of a couple of Boxster interiors, and the results have been better than I hoped for both times. Much cheaper than a re-upholster, and achieves a very similar effect for a fraction of the cost. Highly recommended
