COLOURLOCK Leather Milk Protector is a premium leather conditioner designed to nourish, preserve and maintain the softness and flexibility of smooth leather. Particularly recommended for older leather, it helps replenish conditioning components lost through ageing, regular use and environmental exposure, while providing additional protection against premature deterioration.

Over time, leather gradually loses some of the lubricating substances that help maintain its flexibility. Exposure to sunlight, heat, dry environments and everyday wear can accelerate this process, causing leather to become increasingly dry, stiff and susceptible to cracking. Regular conditioning helps maintain the leather's natural suppleness and reduces the risk of premature ageing.

COLOURLOCK Leather Milk Protector contains conditioning ingredients that help maintain flexibility, alongside antioxidants and UV-protective components designed to reduce deterioration associated with oxidation and sunlight exposure. This makes it particularly beneficial for automotive interiors, where leather is frequently exposed to heat and UV radiation.

Unlike heavy leather greases or oils, Leather Milk Protector has a lightweight, milk-like consistency that allows it to be distributed evenly across the surface without leaving an excessively greasy or waxy finish. When applied correctly, it helps preserve the leather's original appearance and comfortable feel.

Leather Milk Protector is particularly suitable for pigmented and suitably finished semi-aniline leather, including automotive seats, furniture upholstery and other smooth leather goods. It is especially recommended for leather that has been in use for several years and would benefit from regular conditioning.

For newer leather, where the original finish is still intact and intensive conditioning is generally unnecessary, COLOURLOCK Leather Shield is recommended as the primary preventative treatment against friction and dye transfer.

Important: COLOURLOCK Leather Milk Protector is intended for smooth, pigmented and suitably finished semi-aniline leather. It is not recommended for suede, nubuck, highly absorbent aniline leather or artificial leather. While regular conditioning helps preserve flexibility, it cannot reverse existing shrinkage, repair cracks or restore severely hardened leather to its original condition. For extensively hardened leather, COLOURLOCK Leather Softener Oil may be more appropriate.
