Colour Matching Options

COLOURLOCK Leather Fresh Dye is available in a range of standard and manufacturer-specific colours, with custom colour matching available where required.

Customers can select an existing COLOURLOCK colour or manufacturer shade where available, or provide a physical leather or vinyl sample for a custom colour match.

For older, faded or previously repaired surfaces, a physical sample is generally recommended. This allows the colour to be matched to the material in its current condition rather than relying solely on the original factory specification.

For the most consistent result, Leather Fresh should be applied evenly across the relevant panel or section, ideally from seam to seam, rather than only to an isolated worn spot.

Important Information

Surface Compatibility: COLOURLOCK Leather Fresh Dye is designed for pigmented, surface-coloured smooth leather and compatible vinyl and artificial leather surfaces. It is not suitable for aniline leather, nubuck, suede or other highly absorbent, open-pored leather surfaces.

Repair Limitations: Leather Fresh restores surface colour but does not repair deep cracks, tears, holes, peeling coatings or structural damage. These conditions may require additional repair products or professional restoration before recolouring.

Surface Preparation: Always clean and prepare the surface thoroughly before application. Where necessary, use COLOURLOCK Degreaser to remove grease, oils and other residues that may interfere with colour adhesion.

Application: Always test on an inconspicuous area before use. Apply Leather Fresh in thin, even layers using a suitable sponge, allowing each layer to dry before applying the next. Avoid excessive application, which may affect the texture and appearance of the original finish.
