Aniline, nubuck, buffalo and velour leathers are porous or sanded leathers with a soft or velvet-like surface. While they look attractive and are pleasing to the touch, they are sensitive to dirt and stains and can become glossy and greasy over time. Bleaching is common.
The COLOURLOCK Aniline & Suede Protector is a care product with a complex UV-filters and antioxidants. It protects absorbent leather (Nubuck, Suede, Buffalo and Aniline Leather) from fading by sun and drying out. Regular care increases the brilliance and lifespan of your leather.
COLOURLOCK Aniline Protector is an ideal care product for suede, nubuck and any other porous leather surface commonly found on jackets, handbags, furniture suite, sofas, shoes and boots. Aniline, nubuck, buffalo and velour leathers are porous or sanded leather with a soft or velvet-like surface. They have the advantage of a pleasurably warm touch and a beautiful structure. The disadvantage of these leather types is their sensitivity. Aniline or nubuck leather becomes glossy and greasy over time, stains can occur more easily, and bleaching is common. For the care of NEW aniline or suede leather, we recommend our COLOURLOCK Aniline Protector. It cares and protects the leather from drying and bleaching. PLEASE NOTE: This product does not waterproof the leather. We recommend ordering COLOURLOCK Waterproof Spray which is available in 500ml or 200ml.
